• The peril of the high seas is now compounded by threat of incursionfrom neighboring countries.
MISSION:
NOLCOM in cooperation with the LGU and other patriotic volunteers conduct a Community Relations Event with the island-residents of Calayan Group of Islands, Cagayan from 24-29 July 2016 in order to build relations, enhance disaster preparedness, and boost solidarity for national security.

Attended by 12 Baranggay composed of Baranggay Captains, kagawads, LGU and PNP = 95 trainees
As they reports.... we learned that lack of knowledge, lack of experiences in saving lives, lack of resources and support ... FEAR develop and hopelessness.
But they are proud to tell us that 2days advance preparations before the storm will hit them they already fixed their houses and secured their families.
