The Local Coordination Team in Kota Kinabalu have activated a Coordinated Response to the Kundasang/Ranau Earthquake incident. Following the Earthquake and heavy rain plus continuing tremors, mudslide have occurred cutting off access into some areas disrupting water supplies, transportation and ongoing relief work. Kindly contact David OngChi Kiong Chin or Eric Foo if you wish to be part of this joint community based response.

Ranau and surrounding areas in Sabah was impacted by an earthquake (6.1 Richter Scale) 7am local 5th June 2015. Wake up Malaysia, we are not immune and safe from natural disasters as we thought. Invest in training and saving lives today.

August 3, 2014 - Ludian, Yunnan, China. They have no choice but to suffer the 6.1 earthquake. They have no choice but to stay under the tents over this winter. The weather forecast for coming December will hit under 0 degree Celsius.

We are looking for winter blankets, two blankets for each family. We are supporting 1,300 families. Each set of blanket cost RMB 100.

If you do need further information, kindly contact CREST office or email me at ckcheong@crestmalaysia.org
